Where Laki Language Is Spoken?
Laki or Lackian language is a sepearte language from Kurdish and Luri.
Laki language presently is spoken in the areas south of Hamadân (همدان) and including the towns of Nahawand (نهاوند), Tuisirkân (تویسرکان) , Nurâbâd (نورآباد یا دلفان) , Ilâm (ایلام), Gelân (گیلان), and Pahla (Pehle), as well as the countryside in the districts of Horru (هرو), Selasela (سلسله), Silâkhur (سیلاخور), and the northern Alishtar (الشتر) in western Iran.
There are also major Laki colonies spread from Khurâsân (خوزستان) to the Mediterranean Sea. Pockets of Laki speakers are found in Azerbaijan (جمهوری آذربایجان), the Alburz mountains (کوه های البرز), the Caspian coastal region (سواحل دریای خزر), the Khurasani enclave (as far south as Birjand) (بیرجند), the mountainous land between Qum and Kâshân (قم و کاشان), and the region between Adiyaman and the Ceyhan river in far western Kurdistan in Anatolia (آناتولی).
There are also many Kurdish tribes named Lak who now speak other Kurdish dialects (or other languages altogether) and are found from Adana to central Anatolia in Turkey, in Daghistân (داغستان) in the Russian Caucasus (قفقاز روسیه), and from Ahar to the suburbs of Teheran (تهران در ایران) in Iran.
